ALJ Electronics and WebEngage Explore Connected Customer Journeys Across Digital Channels and Stores

Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 5th October 2026 – Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics and WebEngage, the customer data and agentic AI marketing platform, explored ways to create more connected customer experiences across digital channels and physical stores at the ALJ Electronics Customer Day, held as part of their ongoing collaboration. The session brought together 25 stakeholders, including senior leadership and teams across digital, marketing, projects, IT, customer service and retail, to discuss how data and analytics can help businesses understand customer needs and develop more relevant interactions.

Discussions followed a journey in which a customer might discover a product on a website, visit a store to view it, make a purchase and continue engaging through an app or loyalty programme. Participants explored how information from these interactions and communication channels could be connected to build a clearer understanding of customer needs at each stage, supporting experiences that reflect individual interests and relationships with the brand.

Mohammed Dbouk, Managing Director, Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics, said: “At Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics, we continue to explore how technology, data and innovation can help us strengthen the experience we provide to our customers. Our session with WebEngage gave our teams an opportunity to exchange ideas around customer retention and explore how connected experiences and Data Science can support greater relevance, personalization and long-term customer relationships.”

WebEngage presented a tailored interactive demonstration built around ALJ Electronics’ Redsea brand, illustrating potential customer journeys and opportunities to personalise engagement based on customer interests and interactions. The demonstration explored cross-sell and upsell opportunities, such as suggesting complementary products or higher-specification alternatives where relevant to customer needs. It showed how data, enterprise memory, engagement and analytics could work together across a connected shopping experience.

A dedicated session on BLACK, WebEngage’s Data Science and Insights solution, was led by Abhijat Shukla, Vice President, WebEngage. It explored how predictive insights could help teams identify customers at risk of disengaging, assess their likelihood of making another purchase and understand their affinity for particular product categories. These examples illustrated how businesses could explore more relevant engagement for different customers while considering the potential future value of those relationships.

Shukla said: “Data is becoming increasingly important in understanding how customer relationships evolve. Bringing data, intelligence, engagement and analytics together allows businesses to better understand customer behavior, identify meaningful signals and translate those insights into more relevant customer experiences, and measurable revenue growth.”

The teams will continue discussions around relevant data-science and customer-engagement use cases, exploring how customer insights, predictive intelligence and emerging innovations could support more relevant interactions, stronger retention and sustainable business growth. The focus will remain on experiences whose impact can be measured and connected to business objectives.

The event concluded with Mohammed Dbouk presenting a plaque of appreciation to WebEngage’s leadership team in recognition of the ongoing collaboration.
