Global Modest Fashion Weeks who had arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Riyadh Modest Fashion Show for the year 2022 concludes its 1st Edition in Style.
The event that took place from December 15-16-17 2022 at the very iconic venue of the Riyadh city, Al Faisaliah Hotel wrapped up a star studded 3 days with some of the most recognised names in fashion. Riyadh Modest Fashion Show wrote a history in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s fashion industry with 30+ fashion shows and being the most diverse fashion event till now.
The event hosted the biggest names in the industry and was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his wife Princess Al-Bandary Abdullah Al-Juraish who officially came to support the event.
Al Jazirah Vehicles “the main Automotive Partner of the Riyadh Modest Fashion Show” showcased the most trending car model ‘’All New Ford Territory’’ that is loved by the women from KSA and the region. Al Jazirah Vehicles also showcased a catwalk through an owned fashion show at the event with the collaboration Hama Yassen. On this occasion, the Vice CEO, Mohammed Fahad Al-Kraidees stated: “It is our pleasure to be part of the Riyadh Modest Fashion Show event as a platinum sponsor. And for the first time, we showcased the all-new Ford Territory, a vehicle with a distinctive design that appeals to young customers. The Modest Fashion Weeks: known globally as the most prestigious event series that is dedicated to the modest fashion industry; brings Riyadh Modest Fashion Show in its 1st Edition after successful 8 editions from London, Dubai, Istanbul, Amsterdam and Jakarta that kicked off since 2015.
The event theme will be ‘’Roots to the Future’’ inspired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 vision. The CEO of the global Modest Fashion Weeks Ozlem Sahin Ertas says ‘’For shaping the future, we have worked around all the needed values that come from our very own roots, and it is time to be the pioneers also in the fashion industry with inclusive, innovative and global approach. Global Modest Fashion Weeks exclusively selected 35+ designers from 20 countries that came together to celebrate the diversity of the fashion with fashionistas, industry experts and 2500+ modest fashion lovers.
Kaiane Designs (UAE), Miha (Turkey), Sultana R. (France), Sawsan Design (Palestine), Talabaya (Czhech Republic), Kisva (Kazakhstan), Marina (Turkey), HK Design (Egypt), Rabail Riyaz (UAE) made their exclusive shows with very special capsule collections.
Beside the exclusive shows, parade shows took place to showcase the latest modest trends from all around the globe. From the Middle East: Foulard, Kaafmeem, Blooming, Lacavalierelegante (KSA), Lara Ali and Lara Active (UAE) will show the strong heritage of the abayas, kaftans while harmonising the trends with elegance.
Imannoor and Limonette (Turkey), Rossanabrand (Italy), Soumaya Beaudin (France), Daska (United (Kingdom), Nofadeen (USA) showcased sustainable modest lines and very trending product groups in the accessories segment.
Younass Design (Nigeria), Hijab Boutique (Egypt), Eiman Design (Sudan) will speak boldly with mixing the African and Middle East culture while Innersejuk (Malaysia), MTM Design (Kosovo) focused on the colours, prints and the feminine touches.
3 days of unique celebrations with Riyadh Modest Fashion Show were open for everyone from December 15-16-17 with amazing catwalks, experiences, brand booths for shopping and talk shows featuring great keynote speakers and topics.
The next editions of the Riyadh Modest Fashion Show will continue with more partnership from the different government entities, industry partners and Royal family supports in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with aligning the 2030 vision.
