Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 21 March 2023 – in anticipation of the forthcoming holy month of Ramadan, Q Holding, one of the UAE’s major investment and business groups, announced yesterday the inauguration of Al Reem Mosque on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. The mosque is part of the Group’s CSR initiative for social outreach in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and UAE in general, serving worshippers in the area and the local community on the island.
With an overall area of 3200 square meters in the Najma District on the island, the new mosque accommodates 1750 worshipers (1500 men and 250 women). The mosque’s innovative architecture and solid design give a sense of serenity and spirituality, with a unique 32-meter-high minaret that adds unrivaled beauty to the structure.

The inauguration of Al Reem Mosque on Reem Island comes as an expression of Q Holding’s commitment to the local community in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its mission of providing the public with quality service, thus promoting the position of Abu Dhabi and enriching the lives of its people,” said Majed Odeh, Group CEO in his comment on the inauguration.
The new mosque has a special praying area for women in addition to a nursery where children can be taken care of so that ladies can focus on their worship. The mosque has also a spacious parking space and several other facilities that make it a distinguished social and religious landmark on the island
